Greetings from the Newlands Resilience Group!
We have had a good response to our annual community survey. We look forward to launching community conversations to discuss the results of these annual community surveys as soon as funding is secured.

Huia e huia, tangata kotahi!
Huia, your destiny is to bring everyone together!
|
The huia bird is known for its friendly ability to draw everyone together. These birds are known for their enduring relationships, committing for life to their partner. The male huia has a shorter straight beak while the female huia has a longer curved beak. This represents the taonga (treasure) of diversity and that although we may look different, and work differently, we are united in our humanity.
Newlands Resilience Group is committed to improving community wellbeing in Newlands by 2030. |
